Philosophy

Beatrice believes in helping her clients achieve their goals of health and performance through committed collaboration with medical and fitness professionals and from understanding her clients needs thoroughly. She has worked in Changi General Hospital, Changi Sports Medicine Center, Bedok Community Health Centre and freelanced with Fullerton Health and The Posture Lab after leaving the public sector. She was also a member of the Singapore Paralympic Sports Medical Team and is interested in rehabilitation for people with disabilities.

Having more than 11 years of working experience in different settings of healthcare, Beatrice understands the role of rehabilitation and the best ways it can be applied in a client-centred manner. By founding Physiotherabeat, she aims to provide the most holistic and effective form of rehabilitation to the community. Beatrice is also determined in bringing rehabilitative hydrotherapy to all she meets. Having witnessed its amazing rehabilitative benefits for those who have been deemed to have no more rehabilitative potential, she hopes to be able to challenge the paradigm of the rehabilitative scene locally and abroad.

Personal Interests

Beatrice has a long history of field sports experience such as hockey, soccer, floorball, ultimate frisbee, track and rock climbing. Currently, she is pursuing strength sports like powerlifting but has also dabbled with Olympic weightlifting before.

Beatrice last participated in the 2018 Singapore Powerlifting Opens and clinched the 3rd place, deadlifting 157.5kg as her best lift. Exercise has always been part of her life and she cannot imagine herself being completely sedentary ever. As such, she will not as you to give up your sport to stay healthy as she knows the joys of being able to stay active.

Besides, exercise Beatrice enjoys music, art and volunteering in church.

As a dedicated sports massage therapist, Lanny is passionate about helping individuals optimise their physical well-being and performance.

With a deep understanding of anatomy, and therapeutic techniques, he specializes in alleviating muscle tension, enhancing flexibility, and promoting faster recovery for athletes and active individuals.

Being focused on holistic health, Lanny’s goal as a sports masseurs is to provide personalised, results-driven treatments that empower clients to excel in their chosen sports and lead a pain-free and active life.

Lanny has been trained personally by our Principal Physiotherapist Beatrice for a period of 8 months after completing his Sports Massage Certification with International Sports Academy. Through ensuring that all detail has been attended to, we hope to deliver a sports massage session that is both safe and above the regular standard.

Philosophy

Danie is passionate about helping people get into their best shape, as he believes this will be the stepping stone for them to ultimately become the best version of themselves and live a much higher quality of life.

He creates personalized training and nutrition plans that helps people to improve their body composition, prevent chronic disease and has anti-ageing effects.

Danie is an accomplished bodybuilder, a 5-time national champion, 3-time Mr Singapore, as well as Gold medal hauls at an Asian Championship and a World-Regional Championship.

Danie is passionate about sharing his work. He has appeared on Vasantham and Channel News Asia for several interviews regarding health, bodybuilding and nutrition. Additionally, he has made cameo roles in televised MediaCorp TV series.

Danie has also been a billboard model for Uber Advert, PSB Academy and Men’s Health Magazine.

In his free time, he is also a Singapore Pro Wrestling Professional Wrestler, holding the ‘2019 Wrestling Champion of Singapore’ Title

SALLY TING

Principal Occupational Therapist

Philosophy

Sally Ting is a compassionate and experienced Occupational Therapist. In her 4 years with Changi General Hospital as an Occupational Therapist, Sally trained in various subspecialties of Occupational Therapy. She then had a wealth of private sector experience in nursing homes, private hospitals (Raffles, Mt Elizabeth and Parkway) and day rehabilitation centers around Singapore, culminating in promotion to the rank of Senior Occupational Therapist. 

Through these postings, she acquired valuable experience in Neurology, Orthopaedics, Robotic Rehabilitation, General Medicine, Mental Health and Geriatrics. She had worked in New Zealand practicing Mental Health and Geriatric care for two years prior to relocating to Singapore. This breadth and depth of experience together with her organisational and management skills, culminated in her being awarded the Masters’ of Gerontology from Singapore University of Social Science. During her Masters’ course, she was awarded the Best Poster Award for her work on End of Life Care for Persons with Dementia and presented this to President Halimah Yaacob.

Sally is proficient and holistic in her approach. She provides patient centred, comprehensive, anticipatory and coordinated care, working closely with patients of all ages and with all conditions. Her particular strengths include the care of patients with neurological ailments such as stroke and parkinsonism. She is proficient in working with older adults with dementia and their caregivers, practicing Person Centred Care in establishing their shared care plans. She takes pride in her comprehensive care of those at risk or suffering from mental illnesses and stress disorders. She is experienced in the provision of hydrotherapy as a treatment modality for mental health, pain management and musculoskeletal disorders. Facilitating group therapy for older adults and those with musculoskeletal issues is one of her core skills and she combines this with hydrotherapy where appropriate.

Her orthopaedic skills are well suited to dealing with repetitive strain injuries in the hands from caregiving tasks. She is able to make splints and use modification strategies with therapeutic exercise to for issues including but not limited to the hand and wrist. 

Apart from clinical work, Sally is an educator. She has trained and supervised Occupational Therapy students and facilitated inpatient and outpatient in-house group training sessions for caregivers. She continues as a AIC-certified trainer to train caregivers in the care of Persons with Dementia as well numerous psychological conditions.

Personal Interests

Sally practices and is passionate about low-carbohydrate diets. Together with her husband, a Family Physician and Internist, she has waged war on Diabetes, speaking at events organised by Diabetes Singapore. She is a devoted mother of two girls, and is further pursuing education in Paediatric Occupational Therapy as she believes in care from womb to tomb.

Apart from work, Sally is also an avid traveller, enjoys water sports and cooking low-carbohydrate meals.
