To get you started on your hydrotherapy journey, whether it be for your fitness or rehabilitative clients, we teach you the ABCs of hydrotherapy in our introduction course.

Course details:
2 hours theory
2 hours in-pool practical
Topics include - History of hydrotherapy, physics of water, human physiology, benefits of hydrotherapy, in-pool exercise principles and prescriptions, exercise progression, pool equipment, handling techniques, class management, health screening, precautions and contraindications (general), risk management strategies, staffing, documentation, and outcome measures.
Bring your swimsuit and bath towel along if you wish to participate in the 2 hour pool session.
Light refreshments will be provided.
All participants who complete the half day course will receive a certificate of participation and accreditation under the Australian Physiotherapy Association as a hydrotherapy provider.
